10. Jeera Aloo


Firstly take a pan and add some oil and heat it. To the oil, add jeera (cumin seeds) and let it crackle. 7. Aloo Tikki


To boiled aloo mash and add a little cornflour, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger paste, garam masala, chaat masala, salt and red chilli powder. Make a smooth dough out of it. Divide this dough into small balls and flatten them. Shallow fry these tikkis and you have the best street food ready. Now with these tikkis, you can do a lot of other things. You can make chaat by adding curd, tamarind chutney and mint chutney, jeera powder and salt. Your aloo tikki is ready now serve with chutney.

6. Turmeric Pasta


When you feel lazy and want to eat something tasty and healthy but with less effort, then this dish is for you.

Firstly, boiling pasta in the bowl, reserve the cooking water for later. Now melt some butter in a pan, and then sauté chopped garlic and onions in it. Sprinkle some salt, pepper and turmeric. Now,add some cream and cheese slices to the mixture to create a creamy sauce. Stir well. Add boiled pasta and reserved pasta cooking water to the pan and give it a good mix. For the final touch, add chopped parsley.

5. Honey Chilli Potato


For this recipe, you need to make French Fries. Then, heat oil in a pan and add the fries. Add finely chopped ginger, garlic, sesame seeds and saute for 5 minutes. Add some red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and vinegar and mix them nicely.
To the sauce, add the French Fries and mix again. To this, add honey and some more sesame seeds. Your crispy honey chilli potatoes are ready. These taste is better than the restaurant.

4. Curd Rice


Heat some oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Now, add chopped green chillies along with urad and chana dal. When the dal starts to turn a little brown, add in whole red chillies and curry leaves. Now finally, pour this tadka on top of your curd and rice mix, give it a nice stir and your curd rice is ready.

3. Matar Paneer Pulao


Start the dish by chopping one whole onion, one tomato, coriander leaves, mint leaves and 100gm paneer. In a pot take some oil and add cumin seeds, black pepper pods, cloves, cardamom and mace. Let all the whole spices cook up in the oil.

Then, add onions and 1 tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste in the oil. Cook them nicely. Next, add tomatoes and cook the ingredients well on high flame. Add the coriander leaves and mint leaves to the mixture followed by seasoning. Add salt, turmeric, coriander and red chilli powder and mix it well. Now, add boiled peas, paneer and two tablespoons of curd to the mixture. Then, add rice and water. Cook for about 10-15 minutes. Your Matar paneer pulao is ready.

2. French Fries


We call them French but we have absolutely Indianised the potato fries. French Fries or Potato wedges, there is not much difference in it.
Peel the skin of the potatoes, cut them into thin straight stripes, put them into cold water for 10 minutes. Then take the slices out and put them in hot oil. After deep frying the potatoes, sprinkle some salt and chilli flakes and enjoy. Or whatever other masalas you have at home (chaat masala goes with everything).

1. Aloo Parantha


This is a patent breakfast dish. It is easy to cook and requires very little preparation time. You have to just boil some potatoes. And mash the boiled potatoes, finely add chopped onion, green chillies, salt to taste and red chilli powder (for the kick) and coriander. You can also add aamchoor (dried mango powder if available). Mash the whole mixture nicely and make stuffed paranthas with it.
