1. Calangute Beach :


It is also known as “Queen of Beaches”.
Calangute beach is most popular beach of the region. It is located in the norther part of Goa, this is one of the largest beach. This beach is for those who love to have a lively vacation with sand and water. It is the busiest beach of and crowd is indispensable.

The vibrant markets here and sell everything, from beer and food, to junk jewellery, clothes, trinkets and pawn items.

2. Aguada Fort :


Goa is not just about beach. Today, it stands as an important tourist attraction. Aguada fort is constructed by Portuguese in 1609-1612. Fort Aguada is an old 17th century. The Portuguese constructed this fort as a symbol of defense against the Marathas and the Dutch. There is old lighthouse which was built in 1864.

Some part of the fort are converted into jail and the rest are open for tourists. From Aguada, you can get the best views of the shoreline, the Arabian Sea, Mandovi River, and the city of Panaji, which is on the other side of the river. The fort is a great way to spend an afternoon. Afternoons are usually too hot to spend on any beach.

3. Chapora Fort :


Chapora Fort is one of the prime tourist place of Goa. This is a photogenic spot and best places to visit in Goa. Chapora fort lies on the mouth of the Rive Chapora. Chapora fort is built by Adil Shah of Bijapur .

4. Pandava Caves :


According to Hindu epic Mahabharata, the Pandava brothers went on an exile for several years. They lived in Goa during 6th century. There are caves, which are said to be built by Pandavas. The caves have five compartments and, there is a small idol of Hindu God in the middle.

There is another attraction which close to the Pandava or Arvalem caves is the Arvalem waterfalls. There is a small lake at the bottom of the waterfall and people prefer enjoying water activities and picnic.

5. Colva beach :
